BOOSTER GUIDE
SLOT ONE
POSITIVE BOOSTERS
POINT AND SHOOT

FROM THE HIP
Required Rank: 6 | Cost: $5,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes
This booster increases your long gun blindfire accuracy. Much more useful than Point And Shoot, as you'll have your long gun equipped more often. Also, using your long gun to blindfire from cover with this booster absolutely SHREDS your opponent. Use this until you unlock Down The Irons.

BREAK UP
Required Rank: 10 | Cost: $11,250 | Map Specific: Yes | Gun Specific: No
This booster increases the damage you deal to breakable objects. These are:
-The reddish coloured fences on the Sanctuary
-The wooden crates on the Plaza
Do yourself a favour and AVOID this booster. It's useless, as the breakable objects are scarce and very rarely impact on how you play. Stick with From The Hip.

DOWN THE IRONS
Required Rank: 14 | Cost: $18,750 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes
This booster's description is 'better accuracy when aiming long guns'. This is misleading. A more accurate description would be 'a tighter bullet spread when aiming long guns'. What this booster does is, basically, make your bullets go in a straight line. For example, this is your bullets without DTI:

And this is your bullets with DTI:

Those diagrams aren't 100% accurate. You should have got what I mean by now. Anyway, this is a really useful booster. Pair it with Fleet Foot, and you create one of the deadliest combos in the game. I'd definitely recommend wearing it, until you unlock Rapid Hands.

TURTLE
Required Rank: 22 | Cost: $40,500 | Map Specific: Yes | Gun Specific: No
This booster enables you to move faster with the riot shield. The riot shield is on these maps:
I LOVE THIS BOOSTER! Even though it's not as useful as DTI or Rapid Hands, it's extremely fun to use, and, if you master it, it can make you near invincible. Combine with Fleet Foot and bump your sensitivity up to max and you become a walking, shielded death machine.
But, playing the game properly, I'd have to recommend sticking with DTI and giving this one a miss. But be sure to come back to this beauty when you fancy a laugh.

SURE SHOT
Required Rank: 30 | Cost: $64,500 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes
This booster's description is 'better accuracy when aiming pistols'. But, from reading my Down The Irons description, we know that this description is misleading, don't we?! This booster gives you a tighter bullet spread when aiming pistols.
Now, the pistol you spawn with - the 92FS - has a circular aiming reticule. This means that Sure Shot has very little effect on it; you won't notice a difference, and the same can be said of the Desert-5. One pistol that Sure Shot will noticeably affect is the Micro-9mm. The Micro can be found on the following maps:

WALK SOFTLY
Required Rank: 34 | Cost $79,500 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster grants you silent movement (you don't grunt when or make noise when climbing or moving). Frankly, this is a waste of a booster slot. The best thing to do is to stick with Down The Irons and wear one of these skins:

situational awareness
Required Rank: 46 | Cost: $129'000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster allows you to see nearby enemies through walls when you stand still and push up on the d-pad. You should NOT wear this booster - for a few reasons.
This booster allows you to see nearby enemies through walls when you stand still and push up on the d-pad. You should NOT wear this booster - for a few reasons.
- Firstly, if your bespoke enemy is wearing Evasion, which counters SA, you won't be able to see him through walls, even if you have SA on.
- Secondly, it's just cheap. It takes no skill to hide in a room pushing up, waiting for enemies so you can ambush them.
EVASION
Required Rank: 50 | Cost: $210,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster allows you to counter Situational Awareness; when you wear it, players won't be able to see you through walls. It's brilliant; you can sneak up on SA users and snap their cheating necks. The trouble is, it's a very situational booster; you should only wear it:

NEGATIVE BOOSTERS
VEILED
Required Rank: 51 | Cost: $300,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes | Difficulty: Moderate | Pair With: Keep Firing
This booster gives you no blindfire reticule: For every five kills WITH BLINDFIRE, you'll receive $10'000 ($500 in Objective modes). The blindfire kills only count with the following guns:

INVALID
Required Rank: 52 | Cost: $350,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No | Difficulty: Very Hard | Pair With: Sure Foot
This booster gives you half health. You will get $20,000 for every five kills ($1000 in Objective modes).
Yes, it's as bad as it sounds. One punch will kill you, one hammer grenade will kill you; I'm surprised the cold weather on the Train Wreck doesn't kill you too. When wearing it, you should play very cautiously:

- Stick to the outskirts of the map.
- Check around every corner with your camera before you advance.
- Don't blindfire rush people unless absolutely necessary.

GLASS JAW
Required Rank: 57 | Cost: $1,500,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No | Difficulty: Easy | Pair With: Sure Foot
This booster makes you receive double damage from melee attacks. You will get $15,000 for every 5 kills ($750 in Objective modes).
Basically, you die from one punch. It sounds hard, but it's an incredibly easy booster to wear, and it's a good way to make cash in both Plunder and Deathmatch. You should wear this as soon as you get it, and watch the cash come rolling in.

SCAVENGER
Required Rank: 8 | Cost: $8,250 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes
This booster gives you more ammo for each pickup, and affects the following guns:
I'm not even going to bother giving you tips on this booster because, frankly, it's a waste of a slot. Never in my whole Uncharted career have I ever had a need for it. Stick with Bandoleer.

KEEP FIRING
Required Rank: 12 | Cost: $14,250 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes
This booster gives you more bullets in each clip, and affects the following guns:
More useful than Bandoleer, this can win you many gunfights, as your opponent will run out of bullets and reload, but you'll have an extra few to finish them off with. Wear this instead of Bandoleer.

FLEET FOOT
Required Rank: 16 | Cost: $23,250 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster makes you move faster while aiming. Like Keep Firing, this will also win you lots of gunfights; but unlike Keep Firing, this is a defensive booster. If you aim and 'strafe' with the left analog stick simultaneously, your opponent will have a tough time hitting you. Also, make sure you pair this with Down The Irons. That combo is one of the best and deadliest in the game, and is still worn by high levels.
Don't wear this booster if you're just gonna stand still and not strafe; but wear it if you strafe like crazy. I'd recommend swapping out Keep Firing and wearing this.
Note: This booster will NOT affect blindfire. It only has an effect when you aim with L1.

EXPLOSIVE EXPERT
Required Rank: 20 | Cost: $32,250 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster will give you an extra grenade slot, so you will have three instead of two. It doesn't give you an extra grenade; you still have to pick them up.
Like Scavenger, I've never had a need for this. Grenades are plentiful, and the need for a third slot is low. Stick with Fleet Foot.

TREASURE BEARER
Required Rank: 24 | Cost: $43,500 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster will make you run faster with the treasure and propane tanks.
Treasure Bearer is brilliant. If you have a good party of five and one of you is wearing it, all the others have to do is provide a bit of cover and it's an near guaranteed 5-0 win. Even without a good party, you'll have a large advantage if you reach the treasure first. The bearer will move so fast that opponents will have a hard time trying to shoot at him, and even if they do get a clear shot, they probably won't be able to finish him off before he speeds behind some cover.
Swap this out for Fleet Foot, but ONLY in Plunder. And only if you're going to go for the treasure.

SURE FOOT
Required Rank: 26 | Cost: $52,500 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes
This booster will give you no knockdown from explosions.
Sure Foot is a fantastic booster. I've lost count of how many times it's saved my ass.
Basically, if you're within the radius of ANY explosion (an RPG, a Hammer grenade, a grenade, a propane tank) you will normally get knocked down for 1/2 seconds and will be unable to do anything, making you an easy target.
But with Sure Foot, no explosion will knock you down, so you can get away, find cover and get your health back. And with the amount of explosions going on all over the map, you'll always have a need for this booster. Get rid of Fleet Foot and swap this in.

LAUNCH MAN

MONKEY MAN
Required Rank: 32 | Cost: $72,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster makes you climb faster.
Monkey Man is another useless booster. You die so fast that even with it, there's no time to climb away and hide. Keep using Sure Foot.

SCOPED IN
Required Rank: 36 | Cost: $87,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: Yes
This booster gives you reduced pain wobble while scoped in. When you aim with L1, you can push R3 or X to scope in; and when you take damage, your reticule bill bounce around like crazy. With Scoped In, your reticule will bounce around a lot less; making it easier to take out long range targets.
I say this booster is Gun Specific because you can only scope in on a few weapons (AK47, FAL, M4), but, apparently, this booster works with EVERY weapon. Until I can test this out, I don't know if this is true, so only assume that it works with the above 3 guns. As for how useful the booster is; not much, it has little noticeable affect on gameplay, so leave this one and wear Sure Foot.

ReVENGE
Required Rank: 48 | Cost: $134,250 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No
This booster makes you drop a live grenade upon death. Revenge is pretty much useless for two reasons:
Firstly, you have to have a grenade in your inventory for it to work. So if you chuck your nades all the time, you're not gonna have any to use when you die
Secondly, the timer on this grenade is about three seconds, which means opponents will be long gone by the time it explodes. This booster will probably get you more teamkills than actual kills, stick with Sure Foot.

NEGATIVE BOOSTERS
Half loaded
Required Rank: 54 | Cost: $400,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No | Difficulty: Easy | Pair With: Rapid Hands
This booster gives you less bullets in each clip. You'll get $12,500 for every five kills ($625 in Objective modes).
With Rapid Hands, using this booster is INSANELY easy. The fast reloads effectively nullify the disadvantage of having less bullets, and it's a good way to make money.

come get some
Required Rank: 58 | Cost: $2,000,000 | Map Specific: No | Gun Specific: No | Difficulty: Hard | Pair With: Rapid Hands
This booster allows your enemies to see your name through walls. You'll get $25,000 for every five kills ($1,250 in Objective modes).
This is an extremely hard negative to wear. Enemies could just be waiting for you around corners and you wouldn't be able to do a think about it. I'd recommend wearing it on large, open maps like The Temple and The Village; if you wear it on a tight, close quarters map like The Lost City, you'll be more vunerable and will be a sitting duck practically the whole match.
